Amy's relationship with her dad is - not terribly fraught but, to be honest, not the best. Her visit with him mixed praise with annoyed frustration; why hasn't she done as good as her brother Frank? Why isn't she as tough as her brother Mark? Not to mention the other seven of them, all of whom seem to be doing better and behaving in a more interesting manner than she.

Once he's gone and she's woken from the near-trance his presence had put her in, she's off to the gym. She can be found in sweats, trying to tough her way through a bunch of rapid push-ups on her weak arms.

For - just because her father mentioned it - she's totally going to break her brother's twelve-year-old school record for most push ups done in ten minutes.

Suck it, Tom.

Amy is starving and busy, and both states have combined to make her one grouchy person.

You can find her trying to organize a pink folder filled with practical pictures that look like Polaroids (Thank you, replicator) in between bites of an enormous bmlt.

If you ask nicely she might share her cheese fries.

Kaylee half stumbles out of the door to the quarters she shares with Simon, swearing as she rights herself quick enough as she makes sure what she's carrying isn't damaged. There are things she needs to go trade for, larger than the replicator can produce for her.

Someone is clearly building something, but what that something is might not be so clear. The box of bits and pieces checked Kaylee can continue on her way to the concourse making her way through the corridors of the Enterprise.

It may surprise people that know Trever back home that it took him so long... but his gaming geek instinct finally kicked in.

This has led to Trever replicating a bunch of Pathfinder books, a play map, dice and miniatures (Like a draco lich and a paladin that need to be painted.

Currently he has the DMG open and is painting a half-elf rogue. While he waits for bits of the paint to dry, he flips through the DMG and makes notes on a pad of paper.

There are more new arrivals on the ship. They seem to come and go in waves, rather than one at a time. Q sweeps them in, Q sweeps them out again. No rhyme, no reason. She's been looking for patterns, keeping her eye on what she can.

But until they know more, she's more interested in who arrives.

Everyone has a story, and everyone needs a calm place through the storm. She places both palms flat on the bar, and smiles.

"Can I get you something?"

The best part of the ship? The holodecks.

Currently, there is a program running on Holodeck 2, with a big, flashing red warning that the gravity has been turned off. The program's name is "The Aries Asteroid Belt."

Those brave enough to enter, or foolish enough to not heed the warning about the lack of gravity, will find themselves floating in space, at a speed relative to what they entered, floating in space, and surrounded by asteroids... where one will, promptly, explode.

Landing on one of the larger pieces is a man in a red leather coat, mask over his face, and guns in his hand. Seems he's using it for target practice... So, better watch yourself.

Amy's acclimation to life aboard the Enterprise has been chugging along in a positive direction. She has a freshly painted door, she gets along fine with her roommate and she's even trying to properly research how to get proactively involved with the ship's going ons.

That was when everyone around her turned into a child. Literally.

Now she's dedicated to trying to figure out just what the heck is going on.

You can find Amy hiding out in a booth at Ten Forward, quietly spying on people. She passed the academy with flying colors, she ought to be able to figure out what this is all about...

Now, Goofy liked to figure that he was good with electronics. He tended to, somehow, fix anything that broken in his home after all! Or he called for help. Either way, he loved to tinker if he could. But this replicator thing... this was definitely something new! And strange. Very, very strange.

Where was Max when you needed him? Or even, Sylvia! She would figure this out no problem. He missed the both of them, but he had to stay strong. He would see them again. He knew he would. So, for now, food. After a moment of scratching his chin, humming as he looked at the machine quite sternly, a lightbulb went off and he had an idea!

Goofy pressed all the buttons, because why not? It was the best way to figure anything out, he always thought.

It was about five minutes later that Goofy had a problem.

"...uh-oh."

That was a lot of hot fudge sundaes! He couldn't eat them all. Again, Goofy scratched his chin and hummed in thought. Lightbulb!!

Ten Forward would find a table full of hot fudge sundaes all neatly placed on about two tables pulled together. There was a sign, clearly written in marker, that said "HOT FUDGE SUNDAES. 25 cents FREE!"

Goofy realized shortly after writing the sign that no one would have a quarter handy. They were in a spaceship with aliens, after all! Besides, ice cream was always good, no use in charging them. He said behind the two tables, eating one of them already. "A-hyuk! Just as tasty as back home, oh boy!"

If Worf looks somewhat less pleased with the duty of allocating these new guests to their quarters than usual, it is perhaps only logical. After all, they'd spent the first week of the month trying to reel in several mirror universe counterparts of their guests. There had been briggings. There had been damage, albeit repaired at the end of the week apparently by Q. And while nobody could blame their guests, as such, it was an uneasy reminder of their precarious situation.

But Dr. Crusher's medical team has cleared a sizable number of new passengers for ship-wide access, and once again it falls on Worf's shoulders to assign them quarters and instruct them on the correct behavior and protocols needed for life aboard the Enterprise. The new arrivals have been gathered together in Ten Forward, and are awaiting further instructions on how to proceed.

As he has done this before, Worf has a speech prepared:

"The computer will instruct you on where all cleared-for-access decks are. You only have to ask where the area you are trying to get to is located, and it will give you clear directions. Do not visit any restricted areas. The bridge, engine rooms, transporter rooms, and all command centers are off-limits.

"With that in mind, there are a few rules you must obey before I give you your new assignments. One, do not discharge any weapon while on the Enterprise. Two, do not assault any other passenger aboard in any way; that includes injury, death, or violating their personal rights. Three, do not tamper with the operational procedures of the ship. Four, do not steal items or technology from the ship. Five, do not interrupt any official areas of the ship without proper authorization, and do not invade the privacy of other guest or crew quarters.

"Copies of the Prime Directive will be made available to all of you, and placed in each room. As you are not Starfleet officers, you are not obligated to abide by this rule; however, it is important you understand why we do.

"Now, the rooms," he rumbles, reading off the list of quarters, their location, and the guests who will be sharing them.

Deck 07, Section 4
Room # 0711 - Rebecca Siddons
Room # 0719 - Maxim and Alec Troven
Room # 0724 - Aeryn Sun and The (11th) Doctor
Room # 0738 - Jacob Keyes and Amy Santiago
Room # 0753 - Thor Odinson and Carolyn Lam
Room # 0757 - Grantaire and Ellie
Room # 0763 - Son Gohan and Myka Bering
Room # 0769 - Annie Cresta and Magneto

Deck 8
Room # 0912 - William Riker
Room # 3358 - Reginald Barclay

Deck 9, Section 4
Room # 0923 - John Sheppard and Todd the Wraith

"I will remain here to answer questions," Worf concludes. "And my team will be standing by to escort you where you need to be."

The list is also displayed on a PADD, where people can refer to it if they need to.

[ooc: Open log for building CR with new roommates and meeting neighbors, "party post" style! Rooms are aligned the way they would be in a typical hotel: odd numbers on the left, even numbers on the right (so 0711 and 0713 will be next door neighbors, while 0712 is directly across the hall). There is a post in the OOC comm where players can connect with questions and find more details about the rooms themselves, so check in over there. If you need to ask security questions, or need them to swing by another thread, just put "Security officer, please!" in the subject line of your tag, and the mods will send someone to you ASAP. ]

Myka walked slowly down the corridor, looking around curiously. She had no earthly idea where she was, or by the looks of things, when she was. The only was she knew it was a different time was because she had never seen anything like it before in her life.

She stopped in front of a door, and it slid open, showing a lounge of sorts. It was unlike any lounge Myka had seen before. Stepping inside, she looked around, her eyes catching the windows, as she walked over to them, just staring out.

"Wow."

If this is your first trip to Sickbay, you may be surprised to see that it's a fairly ordinary-looking hospital. There are no terrifying devices or humming machines you might see in a sci-fi thriller. The biobeds along the walls are equipped with biofunction monitors, but look fairly standard. Instead of silver trays filled with metal tools and sawblades, there are an array of small devices that look as harmless as cell phones. As for the staff, they're all well-groomed and friendly — even the more unusual aliens.

If you're new to the ship, no doubt you've been escorted here by the security team. Nothing to worry about, the doctors just want to make sure you aren't carrying any viruses or are vulnerable to terrible space disease. Once you've been checked over — a quick scan from a tricorder and any necessary vaccines — you'll be free to go. Lollipops are optional.

"All right, step on in," one of them calls out as you enter. "Don't be afraid. It's just a scan and a hypospray, nothing to worry about."

[ooc: Sickbay is, as always, OTA and open until the next one goes up for latecomers! For new characters: tagging isn't mandatory but IC going to sickbay is. If you'd prefer to skip threading with one of our doctors, you can handwave that your character got a clean bill of health and a shot and were sent on their merry way. There will be a post up in the OOC comm shortly with more details about Sickbay and which doctors are on deck this month, if you have any questions.]

"Oh! You... turned our dining room into that weird space bar, wow."

Anyone who'd witnessed Leslie appearing right in the middle of Ten Forward, might be just a little confused with her statement. Even more so when she ignores any stares or confused expressions, and continues while doing a really awful job of faking enthusiasm.

"This is... amazing? I mean, I don't really know what to say. I'd like to know where our walls are, and the table, but it's still impressive. Where did you find all the people, honey?" She turns, thinking she's going to find her stupidly grinning husband behind her, but instead there's a just a window full of stars. "Ben...?"

She twirls around, scanning the entire room as fast as she can, while going over the last few minutes in her mind. Her husband had covered her eyes, and led her into their dining room, promising to show her something amazing. Then she was here.

"Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no!"

It's finally happened! The sugar, constant work, and all too frequent role plays have finally destroyed her mind. She's actually IN one of the fantasies. Where is she in the real world?

She puts a hand out in front of her, waving cautiously into the empty air. She's probably in the hospital. Ben definitely would have taken her to a hospital if she'd had a stroke, right? So why isn't she feeling a bed rail, or an IV stand? Do they still use stands somewhere like in old TV shows? She'd have to ask Ann next time they talked. IF THEY EVER DO AGAIN.

"Oh Ann, you sweet, misguided, and perfect nurse shark. I'm so sorry I fell into a coma. I hope that you and Ben both stand at my bedside, each holding one of my hands, and stop living your lives completely until I wake up!"
