[Sickbay]: Round One scans and vaccines

As you enter sickbay tonight, escorted there by Lieutenant Worf and his security detail, you may notice it isn't all that unusual. There are no terrifying devices or humming machines you could see in a sci-fi thriller. The biobeds along the walls are equipped with biofunction monitors, but look fairly standard. Instead of silver trays filled with metal tools and sawblades, there are an array of small devices that look as harmless as cell phones. As for Chief Medical Officer Crusher herself, she's well-groomed and kindly, wearing her teal uniform and a blue coat. No masks, no rubber gloves. The most dangerous thing about her is that maternal look in her eyes; the one that scolds you for not doing your homework, or leaving your dirty dishes in your room.
The crew makes no promises for Dr. McCoy, on the other hand. He isn't one of ours. You should probably watch your neck.
"All right, don't be shy," Dr. Crusher calls out as you enter. "Come in and sit down. It's just a scan and maybe a hypospray, nothing to worry about."
Probably.
[ooc: This is an open log for everybody. Tagging isn't mandatory, but going to sickbay is. So if you'd prefer to skip threading with one of our doctors, you can handwave that your character got a clean bill of health and a shot and were sent on their merry way. For those who are tagging, we have Bones McCoy and Beverly Crusher (NPC) on deck, so if you'd prefer one over the other just specify it in your tag. If you would like more details about sickbay, here's the wiki page. If you haven't made your OP yet, you can assume the doctors will want to see your character shortly after they arrive.]
Bones(and Bev when Bones freaks out)
So, it was with an ounce of trepidation that Trance entered the room and sat down. This would be interesting.
(OOC: Trance's medical records!)

Either/Or Doctors!
So why did she willingly walk into medical on an unknown captain's order?
Well. Basically? Because she's talked to too many people to think she can slip under the radar properly. Better to try reason first.
(force after, maybe)
For now, there is a young, very tall woman peeking into medical, jeans and a t-shirt and a ponytail making her feel distinctly dressed-down in the presence of so many uniforms. But with only her shield bag to turn to, Steph's choices for outfits are either blue jeans or the red-white-and-blue.
Jeans will have to do.
You get Dr. Crusher!

Bones please!
But, it was best to not look suspicious, so when he was next in line, he shrugged off his vest and folded it up, tucking the stag phone and Bat shot inside of it so his pockets were empty. When he got called over, he had a spring in his step as he crossed over to the guy's table. He ducked down to set the lump down on the floor beside the bed and plunked his hat on top of it. Finally, he hopped up onto the side of the bed. "Tell me what you need, Doc."
((Here's all the info, Bones-mama))

And doctors can usually tell where an injury comes from and he wasn't going to try and explain that (it already sounded like he was covering up for being bullied again when bullies weren't a problem anymore).
"I'll go first, if you want," He offered.

Still, Andros took a seat, doing his best to look relaxed and professional.
"It's been a while since I was scanned by someone I didn't know." He finally admitted. This person wasn't DECA, Alpha or one of his teammates.

So he's fairly relaxed when it's his turn---though he's still rather concerned with posture. "Nothing to worry about, right?"

He arrives at about the same time as Shotaro -- at Shotaro's insistence -- and though he tries not to look it, he's clearly nervous. He picks at his lip as he waits for his turn.

Things she does not exactly have a choice about: the above.
So it's a somewhat tense agent who presents herself at the sickbay, the only clue being her neutral expression and just easy she's holding herself (all the better with which to lunge into movement.)
Still, there's been a little progress: she's left her gauntlets with Clint, and is entirely unarmed.

But sooner or later she gets corralled, and that is why you will now have one very antsy eight-year-old waiting to be scanned. She really hopes this will not involve much more than a few cursory questions.

Actual Alien is Actual (Either)
She's had a lifetime of those. Regulations, rules and order followed as expected.
But this is an enforced order. This is all of them being rounded up like potential hazards.
This is not nearly long enough since the events with NamTar and Pilot that she'd even grown comfortable with Zhaan's entreating her that they should track her recovery. It was unnecessary. She was fine. She'd said it enough times before. Even if she's standing there, waiting, nowhere near at ease and still armed, being watched by their security officer due to John joking about her temperament, before he was distracted by something on the other side of the room. Another impossibly familiar thing from this place he knew.
She's fine. She is. Counting slow and steady in her head, not blinking too many times in a row.
Which has nothing to do with why she's noticing that she still can't hear anything from this ship, too.
Here, Have a Bones!
Yay, a Bones!

But when the captain of the ship you're on tells you to report to sickbay, you report to sickbay. Steve doesn't want any trouble, and anyway, he can understand their concerns. Just as long as they remain concerns, and not some elaborate scheme to take him or the people he's met here out.
If anybody tries to draw blood, they're the ones who are going to be subjected to an endless stream of questions. And a stubborn refusal to cooperate.

Well, he hasn't been to a doctor in forever--hasn't needed to, hasn't had a physical body, and anyway he can heal himself. So this is a new thing, and that means it'll be fun. Probably.
He's actually not drunk. It only seems that way, between last night's smudged makeup, the feather boa he'd acquired somewhere, and how happy he looks about the whole situation.
"Let's do this thing."

This is what they've been told to do, so here she is. Getting to experience things firsthand, instead of just hearing Loki's stories about the world.
Why, she might even get to experience some things before he does. Won't that be a change.

Pyrrha doesn't like doctors; she never has. But for Egil's sake--well, she doesn't want him getting some kind of weird space-disease, and if he's getting vaccinated or whatever it is they do, she should probably get it too.
"It's okay, puppy," she says. "They're just gonna take a look at us, and then we can go get some ice cream."

She might be able to get out of this discomfort by just saying what she is, but she doesn't want to be thought of as less than. So all she can do is glance over to Butch now and then for reassurance, and hope the doctor is discreet.

Well, besides probably a whole raft of germs and parasites and things he doesn't even know about--sanitation hasn't always been the greatest, places he's lived in. When you're out on the trail and there's a stream or lake that looks clean enough, you drink from it.
But he wouldn't mind having any of that cleared up. Hypospray away.

You strip down, they make sure you've got all your limbs, they check your feet, they check your nether regions, they check your height and weight and teeth. If you're intact and you look healthy enough, you're cleared to go.
Which is why he's unbuttoning his jacket as he walks in.
Hey, maybe they'll be able to find that old bullet.

No.
Eleanor does not want to do this. She doesn't want to be poked and prodded and turned into a science experiment again. Not again.
She takes one step into the room, arms around herself like she can will her symbiote into being invisible to whatever equipment they use here.
This could get bad.

There's a cowgirl at your left, McCoy, all wild blonde hair and sharp blue eyes. She's left her hat behind — it ain't polite wearing it indoors — but you'd have to be a real sweet talker to get her to give up the guns on her hips. Don't be fooled — she may only be cresting 5'1, but she could do you a turn if she chose.
So be a gentleman.
